SAMANTHA & MARK | MANOR ON HIGH
From the elegance of a white wedding to the rich filled traditional dancing, the marriage celebrations of Mark Pistininzi & Samantha Nedelkovski unfold in stunning contrast.
Samantha was my first ever bride to photograph, and I was so honoured to have been apart of her special day. I will never forget the day started really early with tables filled with food and drinks. The Marquee was ready and set for everyone to come and enjoy and dance as she left to St Ignatius Cathedral to meet her future husband.
When I saw her dress from Leah Da Gloria, I was in awe. The dress was a magnificent piece of art, and with her Sergio Rossi shoes really made her the most wonderful bride.
Samantha was getting ready whilst her Hair dresser Maliha and Make up by Cosmetique Makeup artists were doing their finishing touches early, and proceeded to slip on her gown with her sister and cousins helping her button up.
The day was filled with much laughter and love from extended family and friends, as we exited St Ignatius we went to Fitzroy Gardens for some wedding portraits and opened up a bottle of Champagne to enjoy the moments. The bridal party then decided to organise a feed at Boheme on Bridge Rd Richmond, to get ready for the nights celebrations.
Manor on high was fantastic venue filled with floral arrangements by Alitalia and entertainment from live band Zlaten Don and Dj Mangal. The night was filled with much traditional Macedonian and Italian dancing.
Thank you Samantha and Mark for being encouraging and having me as your preferred photographer, I will never forget.

How did you meet? Back in 2006, our weekly weekend outings in the heart of Melbourne at the best nightclub at the time Platform One, was the first time we saw each other. I turned and asked my brother in law who he was he looked at me and said that’s "pista"!. I guarantee one day you two will be together, he replied. In 2010 we got together 6 years later we were married.
The moment he proposed. On the 23rd of February 2015, I got off a flight from a weekend away in Sydney. Walked into the house full of balloons and my soon to be Fiancé standing there with a ring and asked me to be his wife.
Describe how your wedding unfold on the day. Kicked off the celebrations at the Brides family home at 8am with all the traditional Macedonian celebrations. Ceremony was held at St Ignatius Church Street Richmond. Followed by a fun filled photo session at Fitzroy Gardens and refreshments at Boheme restaurant on Bridge Rd Richmond. The reception was held at the Manor On High in Epping where all the traditional celebrations continued including all the traditional Italian & Macedonian dancing!
Samantha in her Leah Da Gloria couture. “I remember picking up my dress at Leah Da Gloria’s shop in Sydney, it was by far the best day leading up to the wedding.”
What was the best moment of the night? The funniest moment was with our bridal party taking photos endless laughter throughout the day. The most heartwarming moment was my father daughter dance.
What do you feel was the most unique part of your wedding? Having my now Husband and groomsmen dressed in cropped pants and beautiful handmade Italian loafers.
